KansasStateCars.com is giving YOU the opportunity to take home a set of powersports to kick off your summer! Entries are available now for the KansasStateCars.com powersports package, co-sponsored by  Brooks Yamaha and Harley-Davidson of Topeka.

The package includes a personal watercraft with trailer, a Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycle and an All-Terrain Vehicle, all with a custom paint and specially designed decals for the ultimate expression of Wildcat pride.

Donation drawing tickets are available now and have a suggested donation of $25 each or six for $100.* To obtain your ticket(s), please call (800) 221-CATS or by visiting www.K-StateSports.com. The winner will be announced at the 25th Annual Powercat Auction to be held on Friday, May 1, in Bramlage Coliseum.

“During last year’s auction, the winner of the KansasStateCars.com’s package donated the motorcycle back to K-State Athletics to be auctioned off,” Russ Briggs, president of Briggs Auto Group and KansasStateCars.com, said. “It is our hope at KansasStateCars.com that the package winner will not only enjoy the three motorsports but give generously to K-State. This is our goal at KansasStateCars.com and we are committed to seeing more support raised.”

KansasStateCars.com, Brooks Yamaha and Harley-Davidson of Topeka are the sponsors of the powersports package and KansasStateCars.com is the presenting sponsor of the Powercat Auction. The Powercat Auction is the K-State Athletic Department’s largest fund-raiser, earning nearly $320,000 in 2008. All proceeds will benefit the Mike Ahearn Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarship assistance to K-State’s student-athletes.

The package donated by KansasStateCars.com, Brooks Yamaha and Harley-Davidson of Topeka includes all of the following items:

2008 Yamaha Wolverine 350 – This fully automatic ATV features a light-weight, sporty suspension perfect for exploring and playing in the great outdoors! The 2-wheel-drive Wolverine 350 has a 4-stroke engine and a continuously variable transmission.
2001 Yamaha Waverunner GP1200 – This two-person, 9-foot personal watercraft is ready to make a splash with a 155-horsepower engine and handling-enhancing features like Yamaha’s Quick Shift Trim System. Includes trailer.
2008 Harley-Davidson XL 1200C Sportster – Feel the exhilaration of the wind in your hair on this 1200 cc motorcycle with plenty of chrome accents and a 4-stroke, air-cooled Evolution engine.

Because each item is one of a kind, this package is not only uniquely K-State, but it also is the only collection of purple pride-themed powersports vehicles you’ll find that help support the Mike Ahearn Scholarship Fund through K-State Athletics.

*No purchase or contribution necessary. To obtain a free entry to the drawing, please contact Powercat Auction coordinator Laurie Dedonder at (785) 532-8880. Need not be present to win.
